The truth is most mother's don't give much thought to what kind of gift they will get on Mother's Day. I'll go a step further and say most mother's don't even want a tangible gift. I didn't really understand this until I became a mother.
Now, all I need on Mother's Day is to feel like a good Mom. Okay... a great Mom. I just need to look at my kids and see that I've done well. I just need a reminder that my kids know I love them.... more than I ever thought possible. If they can't express that themselves, I need my husband to fill in on their behalf!
So the gifts are nice. Going out for brunch is wonderful. But my true Mother's Day gift will always be my kids.
Shea butter comes from the nut of the African Shea tree. It is only available after a labor-intensive process that includes separating, crushing, roasting, grinding and finally collecting the separated oil and shaping it so it can be sold.
It’s slightly yellowish in color (some can be grayish) and is great to use in skincare recipes that call for fat, like whipped body butters. Because it melts at body temperature, it quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving it supple and moist.
We've been busy the past few days helping to create the perfect day for Alex and Kim. Congrats to the newlyweds. It was an awesome day! Family, friends, food... and gifts!
Yanna Gifts was started because we like the feeling of giving. We especially love showing up with a gift for no special occasion…. just because. Sometimes that’s all it takes to make someone forget about a rough week or just laugh and remember that life is pretty good.
You don't need a gift to show someone you love them. They already know. They hear it when you call to check on them when they're sick. They feel it when you do your happy dance after you hear about their big promotion. It's good to have people like you around. True story.
